Day 01: Airport – Colombo
Arrival to Sri Lanka. Your chauffeur/guide will meet you at Bandaranaike International Airport and drive you to Colombo.

Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and freshen up. Later, set out to explore the city’s colorful mix of old and new — from colonial architecture and ancient temples to sleek modern towers and bustling local markets. Highlights may include a walk through Independence Square, a visit to the Gangaramaya Temple, and a drive past the striking Old Parliament Building near Galle Face Green.

Stroll through the bustling streets of Pettah, where the sights, sounds, and aromas of the local markets will awaken your senses. Don't miss the chance to sample some delicious street food specialties.

In the evening, head to the Galle Face Green promenade to catch a breathtaking sunset over the Indian Ocean. Enjoy a leisurely walk along the waterfront, soaking in the lively atmosphere.

Day 02: Colombo - Kandy
After breakfast, leave the coastal buzz of Colombo behind and head inland toward Kandy, the last royal capital of Sri Lanka and a cultural gem nestled in the central highlands.

En route, stop at the Millennium Elephant Foundation in Pinnawala — a sanctuary where you can learn about elephant conservation and, if desired, interact responsibly with these gentle giants. Continue the journey upward as the air grows cooler and the landscape transforms into forested hills.

Arrive in Kandy by early afternoon. After check-in and a quick refresh, explore this UNESCO World Heritage city: visit the sacred Temple of the Tooth Relic (Sri Dalada Maligawa), an important pilgrimage site that houses what is believed to be a tooth of the Buddha. Wander around Kandy Lake, or stroll through the vibrant local market and streets lined with colonial buildings and local cafés.

If time permits, catch a traditional cultural dance performance in the evening, showcasing the island's rhythmic drumming, fire dancing, and graceful movements rooted in Kandyan tradition.

After breakfast, begin your day with a peaceful stroll through the Royal Botanical Gardens of Peradeniya, home to over 4,000 species of plants including majestic royal palms, vibrant orchids, and giant bamboo groves. It's a paradise for nature lovers and a perfect spot for leisurely exploration.

Later, visit (optionally) the Udawattakele Forest Reserve, a serene forest sanctuary just outside the city, perfect for a nature walk. If you prefer some shopping, you can explore the local market or browse through the gem museum, learning about Sri Lanka’s rich gem heritage.

In the evening, relax at your hotel or take a leisurely evening walk along Upper Lake Drive, offering a panoramic view of the city.

En route, stop at a tea factory and plantation, where you can witness the age-old process of tea production — from plucking to processing — and savor a fresh cup of pure Ceylon tea with a view of the lush highlands.

As you arrive in Nuwara Eliya, the landscape transforms into a quaint countryside dotted with English-style cottages, rose gardens, and churches. Explore the town's colonial-era architecture, wander around Gregory Lake, or take a peaceful stroll through Victoria Park, especially lovely when flowers are in bloom.
